Leinster vs Edinburgh
Competition: Guinness Pro14
Date: 29 September 2017
Kick off: 20:35 CET
Leinster will be in a foul move after their trip to South Africa ended on a sour note, they will head home and look to take out their rage against the struggling Edinburgh side.
Leinster were expected to have it tough against the Cheetahs in their second game in South Africa, but after beating the Kings the week before, there was not too much of a worry that they would be out played. But that is exactly what happened as the strong Irish side fell in Bloemfontein by 19 points for their first loss of the tournament. They were a little under strengthened and they had some strange issues, like a players being tossed off a plan and visa issues for another two players, but they should not have struggled this much. They now return to Ireland, and will be boosted by the inclusion of their Lions squad members, like Johnny Sexton, and will rebound in a big way against an Edinburgh side that has been on a downward spiral for some time now. Leinster’s first three games – against some of the easier opponents such as the Kings, Zebre and Blues, was a true show of their class and they will aim to get back there.
For Edinburgh, they were looking good as the season kicked off as they managed to pick up two wins in their opening two games, but those were against the Blues and the Dragons, typically easier opponents. However, Edinburgh have slumped somewhat as they then went on to lose – at home – to Treviso in a big shock result that caught a lot of people off guard. Next up, after that difficult loss to swallow, they had to travel to the home of the defending champions which was a big wake up call as the Scarlets tore them apart by 20 points. Edinburgh do not look like they have much in the tank for the bigger teams, but they also look like they are unsure and inconsistent as smaller teams take advantage at times. Leinster will be a difficult beast to tackle, especially back at home, and with their starts from the Lions returning.

Leinster vs Edinburgh: Prediction
Leinster will be a team on a mission when they welcome Edinburgh, and it can only bode badly for the Scots who are a little lost in themselves at the moment. It does not seem to matter the opposition, Edinburgh are struggling with themselves and Leinster will take advantage for a big win.
