Manchester United vs Hull
Competition: Premier League
Date: 01 February 2017
Kick-off: 21:00 CET
A familiar fixture for these teams as they have met each other recently on a two legged encounter in the EFL Cup semifinal. United progressed, but Hull got a win in one of those legs, however the Tigers should be wary of some false confidence.
The win in the second leg of their EFL Cup game was of course a good result for Hull, it was a victory over one of the biggest clubs in England, but it is also a win that did them no favours as they were still booted out of the EFL Cup. They will perhaps have confidence however ahead of this game having beaten United, but that would be a false sense of bravado as it will be a very different United side who are focused on the win while in the EFL Cup replay they had a buffer. Hull are still a side rooted in the bottom three facing off against a revived Manchester united, and it will be tough.
For United, they perhaps have got the best mental space ahead of this their third fourth encounter against Hull this season. They know how to win with a team that is not their best effort, but they have also lost with no consequence so they will not be complacent. United’s manager actually called the loss to Hull one he would not be counting as they continue to believe they are on an undefeated streak which stretched back more than 10 games. United are in sixth still, but they are making ground on the top five and with City stuttering they will want to take one step closer to overtaking their rivals.
Manchester United vs Hull: Head-to-Head Stats

Manchester United vs Hull: Prediction
Hull should not kid themselves, a full strength United side will make easy work of Hull and will be looking to climb the og and determined to shine. Hull have shown the smallest of glimpses now and again with the second leg in and a win over Bournemouth two games back, but it won’t be enough as United tuck into some goals here.
Manchester United vs Hull: Tips
The strike force of United should have plenty of chances and it has been a while since Pogba has netted so he would be a good bet for a goal here along with Zlatan, Rooney and even Mata.
