Nieciecza vs Korona Kielce
Competition: Poland Ekstraklasa
Date: 11 February 2017
Kick-off: 15:30 CET
Nieciecza finished the first half of the season sitting 13th in the Ekstraklasa table, a position that I feel is rather flattering for them. No disrespect, they definitely had some good games, decent results, but usually, the football they played left a lot to be desired. They have definitely taken good advantage of their home, staying undefeated in the last five matches, winning three of those, despite conceding in every single one. Maciej Bartoszek remains their coach (he took over in September). Last week they signed 29-year-old centre-back Joona Toivio, a Finn, from Molde. A little earlier they had signed Rafal Grzelak from Hearts, a 29-year-old left-back. Two Romanians also arrived at the club, Gabriel Matei and Florin Purece, from Zira and Hapoel Raanana respectively, right-back and attacking midfielder. Last, they decided to give Nika Kvantaliani a chance, a 20-year-old left winger who arrived from Dinamo Batumi.
Korona Kielce were one of those teams that really… tempted you to watch them in the first half of the season (exactly the opposite to Nieciecza), playing attacking football, scoring a lot, but also looking vulnerable defensively, playing their part in producing some… crazy games. They are 7th in the table, they had no reason to sack Gino Lettieri, their coach, and they did try to strengthen the squad even further. They signed Piotr Malarczyk, a centre-back from Cracovia, Oliver Petrak, a Croatian central midfielder, and two attackers, Bosnian Zlatko Janjic and Dane-Bosnian Sanel Kapidzic. Several players left as well, centre-back Shawn Barry for example, who moved to Real Salt Lake, but all in all, the players who left were not that important to them, they kept all those who really mattered to Lettieri, who fitted into his plans.

Nieciecza vs Korona Kielce: Head to head Stats
Three wins for Korona and a draw in the few (four) matches these two have given before in Nieciecza, all these last years. Only one of those four games had more than two goals.
Nieciecza vs Korona Kielce: Prediction
Nieciecza went undefeated for five games at home just before the winter break, so I’m keeping under control my… urge to back Korona Kielce to win. Having written that, I will be very surprised if Korona don’t get at least a draw.
Nieciecza vs Korona Kielce: Betting Tips
Korona’s double chance pays 1.47, low, but kind of ok for people who prefer relatively low odds that have awesome chances of coming good. Their win in “draw no bet” is at 1.83 betting odds. Other than that, I expect goals, at least three. “Over 2.5” pays 1.85, and saves you from worrying about winners and loser
