Sandecja Nowy Sacz vs Jagiellonia Bialystok
Competition: Poland Ekstraklasa
Date: 8 December 2017
Kick-off: 18:00 CET
What do you write about a team that had two – kind of – chances in a whole game, scored two goals, took the lead twice, playing with an extra man for about 20 minutes, got equalized in added time, and almost, almost lost the game, getting saved by their post deep-deep into added time? Unlucky? Because they took the lead twice and were 2-1 up when the 90 minutes were over? Lucky? Because they were… gifted two goals, had no other chances, and almost lost the game? I guess both. Truth is, I didn’t expect Sandecja to avoid defeat last weekend, when they hosted Legia Warsaw, I did expect them to score, but not draw, let alone win, and having seen how the game went, I feel that… despite losing that bet, I was kind of right to suggest what I suggested (Legia and over 2.5 combined goals). The… highlight of the match was Trochim’s reaction after Legia’s second goal. The scorer of Sandecja’s first goal had gotten substituted, he thought the three points were in the bag, and he got so frustrated at 2-2, that he… broke his comfortable bench chair(!), shaking it like a maniac. Can’t really blame him… Against, Jagiellonia, Sandecja will be without Bartłomiej Dudzic (four yellow cards).
If someone gave me a dime every time I wrote that Jagiellonia Bialystok earned in a game more than what they really deserved, by now I’d have enough money to… pay a Sheridan salary. The Irishman scored his first goal since August(!), early in the game last weekend, when Jaga hosted Pogon Szczecin, a beautiful goal for sure, but instead of building on that, the hosts looked… perfectly fine by sitting back, leaving ball possession to a team that were (and remain) at the bottom of the table, and especially in the second half, Jaga were like… non-existent offensively. Obviously, what counts the most, is the name of the winner, Jagiellonia won, picked up all three points, climbed up fourth in the table, so… the fact that they have won a good-good part of their 30 points so far without really deserving them, comes second. By the way, Sheridan is Jaga’s best-paid player, he makes about 15,000 euros per month.

Sandecja Nowy Sacz vs Jagiellonia Bialystok: Betting Tips
Sandecja’s double chance is at 1.65 betting odds. Their win in “draw no bet” is at 2.30. Deep down though, I expect a draw, which pays 3.20. No safety net there, unlike in Sandecja’s win in “draw no bet”, but yes, I do feel draw is the most probable result in this game.
