Serbia vs Bolivia
Competition: International friendly
Date: 9 June 2018
Kick-off: 18:00 CET
Serbia looked very poor a few days ago when they faced Chile, and lost the game 1-0, conceding in the 88th minute. Creating scoring chances proved to be a major issue, with the Serbs lacking spark, imagination, and a clear plan on how to unlock Chile’s defense. Bolivia offer them a chance to… score, boost their own morale, find some rhythm. The game against Chile was the first in over two months, and this one against Bolivia is their last before flying to Russia. Serbia’s roster is full of quality players, they did great in the World Cup qualifiers winning their group, but there are still doubts regarding their ability to come together as a team when everyone’s attention is on them.
Bolivia played against South Korea 48 hours before this game kicks-off, so their coach has no option but to… rotate, start with players who didn’t feature against the Koreans, or played as substitutes in the second half. For them, to be in Europe these days facing World Cup finalists, is a big thing, so their FA and coach were fine with “squeezing” two matches in 48 hours. The South Americans actually earned a goalless draw, a decent result, given that they have key players missing. It was definitely a step forward, after losing 3-0 to the United States a week earlier, with their hands practically down. They have scored just one goal in their last four – friendly – games, and that was against minnows Curaçao.

Serbia vs Bolivia: Prediction
The game is held in Austria, Serbia are not really hosts, even though there will be several fans of theirs in the stands. Obviously, they are considered huge favorites to win the match.
Serbia vs Bolivia: Betting Tips
I do expect Serbia to win, but not really to run wild. Given that a simple victory of theirs is at just 1.44, and even combined with a clean sheet doesn’t pay more than 1.90, I’d go for “under 2.5 goals”, at 2.07, actually leaving Serbia’s win aside (even though, deep down, I do expect them to win, 1-0 or 2-0). Even 2.07 feels decent enough to minimize the risk.
