Valencia vs Khimki Moscow
Competition: Turkish Airlines Euroleague
Date: 26 January 2018
Time: 20:30 CET
Valencia just barely ruined our bet last week, as they fell by 86:82 on the road against Zalgiris Kaunas. They were a little more feisty than expected in that match, as they really took off in the second half. Our bet was actually going great during the first half, as Zalgiris Kaunas were up by 47:31 at the end of the the first two quarters. However, Valencia scored 26 and 25 points respectively in the next two quarters, and ruined our bet by a single point. Pleiss did a lot of damage with 20 points, Thomas scored 19 and Green scored 17, while Van rossom scored 9 with 10 assists. Valencia are now sitting at the 14th spot of the Euroleague (W6 L13), scoring an average of 75.42 points per match, while allowing just 78.05 in the process.
On the other hand, Khimki Moscow completely obliterated Olympiacos Piraeus in their previous match, as they recorded a strong 82:54 win at home. We fell 12 points short of our bet on the Over 148.5 points, but who would expect that Olympiacos Piraeus would score 14, 11, 13 and 16 points in each respective quarter? The Greeks do have the worst offense, but that match was way worse than their current average. In any case, Alexey Shved scored a game-high 19 points with 7 assists, while Jenkins scored 16 and Thomas scored 12. Khimki Moscow have only lost to Real Madrid and Barcelona in their last five matches in the Euroleague, but they have also lost two league matches lately. Even so, they are now sitting at the 7th spot of the Euroleague (W11 L8), scoring 77.52 points per match, while conceding 77.89 so far.

Valencia have been really stable at home lately, as they have won five of their last six matches in all competitions. Khimki Moscow have won just two of their last six on the road, and Valencia seemingly have the upper hand in this match.
Valencia vs Khimki Moscow: Betting Tips
Valencia have been great as hosts against Khimki, but they have been really bad in the Euroleague this season and the russians sit in the playoff spots for now. Even if Valencia does end up winning I don’t see it being easy. Therefor I think Khimki+5 @1.75 is worth a shot.
