Wasps vs Bath
Competition: Aviva Premiership Rugby
Date: 1st October 2017
Kick off: 16:00 CET
This is arguably the biggest game of the season as both these teams would have been aiming for the final in their respective season chats. Wasps and Bath have also mirrored each other in the four games, winning their first two, losing their next two.
For Bath, it was a great start to the season as they beat long time regional rivals Leicester Tigers on the road in a small margin win of four points. Then they welcomed the all conquering Saracens and gave them a body blow as they won against the former champions by 10 points. The season then took a turn for the worst though as they travelled away to Northampton to face a Saints side that was coming right, and that side managed to keep Bath tryless. However, their next game – at home – was a disaster as they lost to Newcastle by one point. They were trailing at first, managed to take the lead, and then blew it right at the death to really annoy their head coach. They are on the road again, and the Wasps will be waiting to out play them in attack.
The Wasps seem like tye have been figured out somewhat as they are always going be an attacking force, but teams seem to know how to work that now. The Wasps were ruthless against what must be called lesser teams in the Sale Sharks and Worcester Warriors who they beat by 14 and 15 points respectively. However, at home the Quins struck a big blow against the Wasps in a dirty match as they were rattled and fell by three points. Next u they were on the road to the defending champs for a game that was always going to be tough to win, and as such, they ended up losing by 14 points, looking really underwhelming overall. They will know Bath will be a threat, and that Bath will want to bounce back, but so will they and they are at home.

Wasps vs Bath: Head to Head Stats

Wasps vs Bath: Prediction
Both of these teams really need to catch a wake up as their last two games have been poor. The belief is that Wasps will be the ones to waken up quicker as they have a home game in which to bounce back from, and against some good opposition. In all this should be a close game, but one that the home side wins.
