Aldosivi vs San Martin San Juan
Competition: Argentina Superliga
Date: 12 February 2019
Kick-off: 01:10 CET
Aldosivi were second best on the pitch last weekend at Rosario Central, so to leave the field with a point, away from home, after getting outplayed by the hosts, was a very good result. They are on 24 points, in the upper half of the table, and it’s interesting that “only” 13 of those have been earned at home. They have celebrated some big wins, over Huracán, over Newell’s Old Boys, but on the other hand, they have fallen victims to defeats to Tigre and Banfield (the latter was a surprise because of the score, 1-4!). Aldosivi got promoted to the top division at the end of last season, so to be in the upper half of the table after 17 game weeks is really something.
San Martín San Juan left Estudiantes no chance last weekend, took the lead at the end of the first half, scored two more goals until the 71st minute, and then simply… managed the situation, adding three points to their tally, their first win by three goals this season. Unlike Aldosivi, whose points are almost evenly split between home and away games, San Martín have earned almost 70% of their points at home. On the road, they have won only once in nine matches. Before this weekend’s games, they were 22nd in the “promedio” table, right above the relegation line. The difference between them and Patronato (below the relegation line) is minimal, and even Belgrano are very close to them, so a single positive result can make a difference.

Two wins for Aldosivi, two for San Martín as well, and a draw, in the last five games between these two with Aldosivi as hosts.
Aldosivi vs San Martin San Juan: Prediction
The hosts are considered favorites to win, but I’m going with San Martín, expecting them to return home with at least a point from this match.
Aldosivi vs San Martin San Juan: Betting Tips
San Martín’s double chance is at 1.80. For more than that, I would risk with the same, combined with “under 2.5 goals”, at 2.50. San Martín’s last five away games have stayed “under 2.5”, even their defeat at leaders Racing (1-0).
