Asteras Tripolis vs AEL Larissa
Competition: Greece Super League
Date: 24 November 2018
Kick-off: 16:15 CET
Asteras Tripolis have a new coach; Savvas Pandelidis was replaced by Giorgos Paraschos, a man who has had success at most of the clubs he has worked for. Just before the international break, Asteras drew with Lamia away from home. It was their sixth game in a row without a win in the Super League. They are on just six points from 10 matches, second-to-last in the table, incredibly poor, taking into account their more than decent roster. Center-back Triantafyllos Pasalidis and defensive midfielder Matías Iglesias are out, both due to cards. Paraschos looked very optimistic in his first Press conference, saying what many football fans in Greece feel, that based on their roster, Asteras should be much higher in the table, definitely in the upper half.
No Vangelis Moras (center-back and captain), no Manolis Bertos (right-back), no Paschalis Kassos (winger), no Nikos Karanikas (another right-back). The first three are injured, and the last one is serving a one-match ban due to cards. Plus, defensive midfielder Alexandre Coeff missed some training sessions this past week, dealing with an injury problem. AEL Larissa traveled to Tripoli with several problems. Right before the international break they beat PAS Giannina 2-0 at home, scoring both goals in the second half, starting right after PAS lost a player to a red card. Winger Milos Deletić scored their second goal. According to reports, he has agreed terms to stay at AEL for three more years. He is 25. Larissa are 11th in the table, on 11 points from 10 matches.

Asteras Tripolis vs AEL Larissa: Prediction
Asteras have a new coach who had almost two weeks at his disposal to work with the team. AEL are missing several players. I’m backing the hosts to win the game.
Asteras Tripolis vs AEL Larissa: Betting Tips
A simple Asteras victory pays 1.53, low. “Asteras and under 2.5 goals” is my main tip, at 2.75. They are no… goal machine, and AEL have scored just one goal in their last four away games.
