Atromitos vs Levadiakos
Competition: Greece Super League
Date: 10 February 2019
Kick-off: 18:00 CET
Atromitos are… disgusted by Greek referees, and are making no effort to hide it. They have consistently been the victims of ridiculous refereeing mistakes for weeks now, and at this point, it’s really hard to believe that what is going on is a simple coincidence. Midweek, they saw the referee of their Cup match against AEK give a non-existent penalty in the 86th minute, for a foul that took place outside the box. Atromitos lost 0-1, meaning that they have to go to the Olympic Stadium for the return leg and win, if they are to qualify for the semifinals. Soon after the end of the match on Thursday, Damir Canadi, Atromitos’ Austrian coach, implied that this game, against Levadiakos, may be his last one in charge. He appeared disappointed, hopeless, as if there is no point trying to do his job, since the results of their matches are decided by refereeing mistakes. Apparently, on Friday, he talked with the club president, and he appeared more… calm, forgetting(?) all about leaving after this weekend’s match. Atromitos sit 4th, on 33 points.
Every point counts, Levadiakos’ goalless draw with Panathinaikos last weekend at home wasn’t the worst possible result, but to avoid relegation they need to win games. They are on just 13 points, second-to-last in the table, having scored just one goal in their five matches in 2019. I repeat, one goal in five matches, their 1-0 win over Aris. They have conceded just one in their last four, to AEK, in their 1-0 defeat in Athens, so… defensively things have been going well, but once again, if they are to avoid relegation, they need to win matches…

Atromitos vs Levadiakos: Betting Tips
A simple Atromitos win is at just 1.47. Despite the fact that Levadiakos have conceded just one goal in their last four matches, I expect the hosts to score more than once; “Atromitos and over 1.5” is at 1.91. Their win combined with a clean sheet pays 1.93.
