Bayern Munich vs Wolfsburg
Competition: Germany Bundesliga
Date: 9 March 2019
Kick-off: 15:30 CET
Bayern Munich were fantastic last weekend, destroying Borussia Monchengladbach 1-5, away from home. Niko Kovac’s team took an early 0-2 lead, Borussia shortened the gap before halftime, but two minutes into the second half Robert Lewandowski made it 1-3, and the game was pretty much over. That was Bayern’s fourth Bundesliga win in a row, and 11th in their last 12 matches(!). They are sharing the top spot in the table with Borussia Dortmund. Neuer, Kimmich, Süle, Hummels, Rafinha, Martinez, Thiago, Müller, James, Gnabry and Lewandowski, these should be the first 11. Coman is out, while Alaba, Robben and Tolisso were considered doubtful the day before the game. Bayern have a massive Champions League game coming up, against Liverpool, but they can’t afford to drop the ball in the Bundesliga. They have fought so hard to “catch” Dortmund, they finally did, and they obviously don’t want to throw all that effort to the trashcan.
Wolfsburg blew a big opportunity to be fifth today in the Bundesliga table. They hosted Werder Bremen last weekend, took the lead, but got equalized in the 74th minute, and had to settle for a draw, one point. They are on 39, sitting 7th in the table, while with those two extra points they would be fifth, above Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt. Goalkeeper Koen Casteels had to get substituted last weekend, but it was mostly a precaution, and is expected to start against Bayern. The other ten should be William, Knoche, Brooks, Roussillon, Gerhardt, Guilavogui, Arnold, Mehmedi, Klaus and Weghorst. Coach Bruno Labbadia cannot count on Azzaoui, Camacho, Ginczek and Jung (all four injured).

Without underestimating Wolfsburg, I will be very surprised if Bayern don’t win this match.
Bayern Munich vs Wolfsburg: Betting Tips
Given that a simple Bayern win pays between 1.20 and 1.30, I would risk combining it with “over 3.5 goals”, at 2.30.
