Belgrano vs Tigre
Competition: Argentina Superliga
Date: 11 December 2018
Kick-off: 01:15 CET
Belgrano salvaged a point last weekend at Colón. They went 1-0 down in the first half, equalized just before halftime, and left Santa Fe with that point. It wasn’t the best possible result – given their… precarious position in the table – but it was a point earned away from home… If the season were over today, they would be getting relegated. They are 23rd in the “promedio” table, the one in which all points from the last three seasons are taken into account, and it’s the teams placed 23rd and lower that get relegated at the end of the season. As hosts, they have two wins, three draws, and two defeats in this Superliga campaign. They were doing well defensively at home (three goals conceded in six matches), until they hosted Atlético Tucumán something over two weeks ago; in 50 minutes of that match, they conceded as many goals as they had allowed in the previous six matches as hosts.
Things were… “heavy” last Monday in Victoria, when Tigre hosted Godoy Cruz. They lost 1-3, the fans lost their patience, turned against the players, against the board of directors as well, and the overall negative atmosphere added to their misery. Be reminded, they are at the bottom of the “promedio” table, top favorites to get relegated. They needed to have an awesome 2018-2019 season to have any chance of avoiding relegation, they did have some positive results, but they are just 21st in the table, on 14 points. They needed at least 10 more than that by now (be in the top 8) to really hope of avoiding relegation. Plus, many players looked… disheartened last weekend, as if… accepting that things are so bad that there is no way back.

Belgrano vs Tigre: Prediction
I have zero faith in Tigre. If they prove me wrong, good for them.
Belgrano vs Tigre: Betting Tips
Belgrano’s win is at 2.10 (with their double chance very low, at just 1.28). I’m backing them to win, mostly because Tigre, at this point, are doing most of their opponents’ work themselves, committing various huge mistakes per game.
