Betis vs AC Milan
Competition: UEFA Europa League
Date: 8 November 2018
Kick-off: 21:00 CET
“Betis’ double chance is at 1.80, my main tip. Their win in “draw no bet” is at 2.70(!). I have a 1-2 hunch, seriously doubting Milan’s ability to win this game, or even earn a point.” That’s what I wrote two weeks ago in the AC Milan vs Betis preview. Final score, 1-2, with Betis taking a 0-2 lead in the 54th minute, and worrying only in the last 10 minutes, after Milan shortened the gap, 1-2. Betis finished the game on nine attempts, Milan had one more, but the on target ones were 3-2 for the Spanish side, who looked much more effective than Milan. They leapfrogged the Italian side in the group table, they are now leading on seven points, they are the only undefeated team in the group, three points ahead of third-placed Olympiakos. Last weekend they drew 3-3 at home with Celta (2-0, 2-3, 3-3!). They are just 14th in La Liga, on 13 points from 11 matches.
In case you haven’t read it, there are rumors that AC Milan are close to hiring Arsene Wenger(!). The Frenchman has been… resting ever since he left Arsenal at the end of last season. Milan have won three games in a row in the Serie A, climbing up fourth in the table. In the Europa League, they run a serious risk of being left third after today’s games. If they lose in Spain and Olympiakos beat Dudelange in Greece, Milan will be left one point behind the Greek side, whom they still have to visit. Spanish winger Samu Castillejo got sent-off in the dying minutes of the match two weeks ago, so he’s unavailable.

Betis have hosted Milan just once before, in 1977. They won that game, 2-0.
Betis vs AC Milan: Prediction
Despite backing Betis to win in Italy two weeks ago and having that… hunch come good, this time I see Milan earn a point, even away from home.
Betis vs AC Milan: Betting Tips
Milan’s double chance is at 1.70, my main tip. “Under 2.5 goals” is at 1.80. Generally, I expect the Italian side to do everything necessary to keep the game at 0-0.
