Borussia Dortmund vs Club Brugge
Competition: UEFA Champions League
Date: 28 November 2018
Kick-off: 21:00 CET
Despite losing 2-0 in Madrid three weeks ago, to Atlético, and being level on points with them, Borussia Dortmund are still leading the group, as they had triumphed over the Spanish side 4-0 at home. Not that finishing first would guarantee them an easy draw and a ticket to the quarterfinals, but.. it’s a target. On Saturday, they beat Mainz 1-2 on the road, their seventh win in their last eight Bundesliga matches (the other one was a draw). They are leading there as well, four points ahead of second-placed Borussia Monchengladbach. Bürki, Piszczek, Akanji, Zagadou, Hakimi, Delaney, Witsel, Pulišić, Reus, Sancho and Alcácer (he scored again last weekend), should be the first 11. Left-back Marcel Schmelzer is out, injured. Attacking midfielder Sergio Gómez and right-back Jeremy Toljan are also out, without facing any specific problem.
Club Brugge drew 1-1 with Monaco at home last month, in times when everyone else beat them. Back then, it felt like shooting their own foot. Two weeks later, in Monaco, they triumphed 0-4(!), not exactly securing the third spot in the table, but definitely taking a big-big advantage. As for finishing in the top-2, that seems almost impossible, as they are left five points behind both Borussia Dortmund and Atlético Madrid. They are hosting the Spanish side in two weeks, but chances are, by then, the gap between the two will have stayed bigger than three points. Horvath, Denswil, Mechele, Poulain, Mata, Nakamba, Vanaken, Vormer, Rits, Wesley and Schrijvers are expected to be in the starting lineup. Winger Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld and center-forward Jelle Vossen are both out, injured. Club Brugge have five more players (Bonaventure, Cools, Denswil, Diatta and Vlietinck), who are doubtful, either due to minor injury problems or fitness issues.

Borussia Dortmund vs Club Brugge: Head to head Stats
Dortmund have hosted Club Brugge twice before; they won both times, 2-1 and 3-0.
Borussia Dortmund vs Club Brugge: Prediction
I definitely expect Borussia to win, and most probably the game to have more than three goals.
Borussia Dortmund vs Club Brugge: Betting Tips
A simple Dortmund win is not paying more than 1.33. Combined with “over 3.5 goals” it goes up to 2.50, which feels worth the risk, given how they have been doing for weeks and weeks now, not just scoring a lot, but also conceding in most matches.
