Botafogo vs Chapecoense
Competition: Brazil Serie A
Date: 12 October 2017
Kick-off: 00:30 CET
Botafogo were the hottest team in Brazil when they hosted Vitoria before the international break, they were the only ones in the league to have four consecutive wins, but somehow I didn’t trust them to beat the Bahia side, I suggested Vitoria’s double chance at 2.15, and the Salvador team did even better than what I expected, they actually beat Botafogo in Rio de Janeiro, 3-2! What’s even more impressive is that Botafogo conceded twice in added time!! They were 2-1 up when the 90 minutes were completed, but shot their own foot, practically gifting the victory to Vitoria. Chilean attacker Leonardo Valencia got sent off in added time, and is obviously unavailable.
Chapecoense were considered outsiders when they visited Vasco da Gama before the international break, but I trusted them to earn at least a draw, and they did. Their double chance came at 1.75. They conceded first, but Reinaldo made it 1-1 in the 64th minute, and that proved to be the final score. Chape now have seven points from their last three matches, they have left the relegation zone two points behind them, but they are obviously not out of the woods yet.

Botafogo vs Chapecoense: Head to head Stats
One win each in the two, no more, games they have ever played in Rio de Janeiro. Both games stayed under 2.5 goals.
Botafogo vs Chapecoense: Prediction
Just like before the international break when Chape traveled to Rio de Janeiro to face Vasco, I’m backing them again to earn at least a draw.
Botafogo vs Chapecoense: Betting Tips
Chape’s double chance pays 1.95, better than Botafogo’s win alone (1.75), and I have little doubt to suggest it.
