Burnley vs Everton
Competition: England Premier League
Date: 26 December 2018
Kick-off: 16:00 CET
You can’t really blame Burnley for losing to Arsenal last weekend. They visited a far better team, and got totally outplayed, even though, after closing the gap on the Gunners, 2-1, they had two good chances to equalise. They missed them, and got further punished in added time, when Arsenal scored their third goal. It was Burnley’s fifth defeat in their last six Premier League matches. They are 18th in the table, on 12 points, below the relegation line, two points behind Cardiff. They should start with Hart, Bardsley, Mee, Long, Tarkowski, Taylor, Westwood, Cork, Brady, Barnes and Wood. As hosts, they won their last game, a narrow 1-0 over Brighton, something over two weeks ago.
That was… painful for Everton… Despite taking the lead last weekend, when they hosted Tottenham, they ended up not just losing, but getting humiliated. Final score, 2-6(!), I repeat, in a game that saw Everton take the lead in the 21st minute. They finished the match on just over 40% ball possession, 10 shots, three on target, but nothing they did helped them avoid a very embarrassing home defeat. They are 11th in the table, on 24 points, having picked up just two from their last five matches. Their last win was just over a month ago, a narrow 1-0 at home over Cardiff. They are expected to start the game with Pickford, Zouma, Keane, Digne, Mina, Andre Gomes, Gueye, Bernard, Sigurdsson, Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin. They have earned one point from their last four away games, but in their defence, they had to visit Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.

Burnley vs Everton: Prediction
Everton are considered favorites to win, but I find it very difficult to trust them.
Burnley vs Everton: Betting Tips
“Under 2.5 goals”, at 1.80, is my top choice in this game, going up to 2.30 if combined with “no” on “both teams to score”.
