Burnley vs West Ham
Competition: England Premier League
Date: 30 December 2018
Kick-off: 15:15 CET
Burnley had lost to Tottenham and Arsenal away from home before hosting Everton midweek, and hoped that in front of their own crowd they’d manage to bounce back, earn at least one point. Final score, 1-5, as they got unlucky and found opposite them an Everton side on a truly magnificent day. They got stuck to 12 points, third-to-last in the table, below the relegation line. They have now won just one of their last 12 matches, a narrow 1-0 over Brighton at home, earlier this month. If there are no late surprises, they should start the game with Hart, Gibson, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, Westwood, Hendrick, Cork, Vokes and Barnes. As hosts, Burnley have lost four of their last five games.
West Ham found themselves 1-0 down in the 50th minute midweek, at Southampton, but they stood back up, equalized in just three minutes, and went on to win 1-2, with Felipe Anderson scoring both their goals. It was the second time this season that the Brazilian scored twice in a the same match; the first had been early November, in that 4-2 win over Burnley, at home. He has scored seven of his eight goals since early November, making him one of the most productive players (scoring-wise) of the last two months of the year. Midweek’s, was West Ham’s fifth win in their last six Premier League matches. They are on 27 points, 9th in the table. They have won their last three away games, and have stayed undefeated in their last five as visitors.

Burnley vs West Ham: Head to head Stats
Two draws and three West Ham victories in the last five games between these two at Burnley’s home.
Burnley vs West Ham: Prediction
West Ham have been in great form the last weeks, but they remain a team with more than half a dozen players missing due to injuries. When you have to rely on the same players twice a week, fatigue is a factor you can’t overlook.
Burnley vs West Ham: Betting Tips
As a spectator, I would love to see West Ham win this game. Betting-wise though, my top choice is Burnley’s double chance, at 1.73. “No” on “both teams to score” pays 2.12.
