Crvena Zvezda vs Real Madrid
Competition: Turkish Airlines Euroleague
Date: 30 March 2018
Time: 19:00 CET
Crvena Zvezda have been really disappointing since they have been mathematically eliminated from the playoff chase in the Euroleague. They easily lost both matches last week, against Panathinaikos on the road (91:71), and against Fenerbahce at home in their most recent (63:80). Fenerbahce were really interested in staying at the 2nd spot, as they totally destroyed Crvena Zvezda in front of their own crowd. Crvena Zvezda were terrible until the fourth quarter, where they barely outscored their opponent’s bench. There is not much to besaid about individual performances, as Davidovac (18p, 3as, 5r) and Ennis (10p) were the only ones who could get their shot to fall. Crvena Zvezda are now sitting at the 12th spot of the Euroleague (W11 L17), scoring an average of 77.60 points per match, while allowing 83.60 in the process, which is the fourth worst defense in the league. They will come into this match without Dangubic who has been ruled out.
On the other hand, Real Madrid suffered an unexpected loss against Valencia in the first match of the double game-week, but bounced right back with a nice win against Zalgiris Kaunas at home. They were claerly the stronger team throughout the whole match, with the sole expection of the 2nd quarter. They were outscored by 22:28, but they did so much damage in the other three quarters, and eventually won by 88:81. Reyes only needed 12 minutes to score a team-high 16 points, while Causeur, Doncic and Carroll all scored double-digits. Real Madrid have found some very good form in the most crucial part of the season, as they have now won six of their last eight matches in all competitions. They are now sitting at the 4th spot of the Euroleague (W17 L11), with an average of 85.28 points per match (2nd best offense), while conceding 78.92 in the process. Real Madrid will be making this trip without Llull, Ayon and Kuzmic.

Crvena Zvezda vs Real Madrid: Head to Head Stats
Crvena Zvezda pulled somewhat of an upset in Madrid earlier in the season, as they escaped with a 83:87 win. The two teams have exchanged home wins for the past couple of seasons, but it is Real Madrid who have had the upper hand in this match-up over the years (W9 L4). However, there has been total balance between the two in this venue, with each team having won three matches.
Crvena Zvezda vs Real Madrid: Prediction
Real Madrid are the only one interested here, as they can potentially finish as low as the 8th spot if results go against them. They would like to win both matches and retain their 4th spot,so I expect them to be extra competitive in both their remaining matches.
Crvena Zvezda vs Real Madrid: Betting Tips
Crvena Zvezda have looked pretty awful since they have been mathematically eliminated from the playoff race. Real Madrid are still chasing the best placement, so I will back them up to cover the -6.5 points handicap @ 1.75.
