Crystal Palace vs Leicester
Competition: England Premier League
Date: 15 December 2018
Kick-off: 16:00 CET
Crystal Palace went to the dressing room at halftime last weekend beating West Ham 0-1 away from home. Twenty minutes into the second half, they were 3-1 down(!). They did get one back, but that 3-2 left them empty-handed. It was their second away defeat in a matter of days, conceding a total of six goals. They are 16th in the table, on 12 points, two ahead of Huddersfield Town, the first team below the relegation line. They should start with Hennessey, Kelly, Sakho, Wan-Bissaka, Kouyate, Schlupp, Meyer, Milivojevic, Townsend, McArthur and Ayew. They have three guys with injury problems, Wickham, Benteke and Dann. Crystal Palace have played seven games at home thus far this season, and have won only once; it was their last home match, against Burnley, a 2-0. Incredibly, it was just the second game at home this season, in which they managed to score.
Leicester had stayed undefeated in seven matches (Premier League and League Cup combined), they hadn’t lost in a month and a half, but Tottenham proved too good for them last weekend. Home defeat, 0-2, conceding just before half time, and then again in the 58th minute. They are 9th in the table, on 22 points. If there are no last-minute surprises, they will start with Schmeichel, Chilwell, Evans, Maguire, Pereira, Mendy, Ndidi, Iborra, Maddison, Gray and Iheanacho. On the other hand, Vardy, James and Amartey are their guys with injury problems. They have lost three of their eight matches on the road, but only one of their last five, a 3-1 at Arsenal.
