CSKA Moscow vs Fenerbahce
Competition : Turkish Airlines Euroleague
Date : 17/11/2017
Time : 18:00 CET
CSKA Moscow stormed Belgrade on Wednesday, where they easily subdued the ever strong at home Crvena Zvezda by a massive 59:85. The Russians showed their intentions from the first quarter, where they ourtscored their opponents by 10:22. They essentially sealed their win at the 3rd quarter, where they allowed just 7 points, while scoring 21. They played some massive defense, as their opponents had a wretched 30.6% in their FGs. Nando De Colo scored a game-high 16 points with not much peripheral stats, but Hines (12p, 7r, 3st, 2bl), Rodriguez (11p, 9as) and Higgins (12p) and even Hunter (5p, 10r, 2bl) were also in pretty good form. That was their 9th consecutive win in all competitions, and their 14th in 15 matches so far in the season. CSKA Moscow are now sitting all alone at the top of the Euroleague (W6 L1), featuring the best offense with 87.7 points per match, and the 3rd best defense with just 75.14 conceded.
On the other hand, Fenerbahce seriously choked against the visiting Olympiacos Piraeus on Wednesday, where even though they were up by 10 points at the end of the first half, they ended up losing by 83:90 in the overtime. Olympiacos Piraeus were really feisty in the 3rd quarter, and eventually sent the match to overtime, where Printezis took over and finished the upset. Nunnally exploded for 22p, 4r, 4 as) and even though Fenerbahce had double-digits from Wanamaker, Melli and Sloukas, they were not very serious on the second half, and not at all in the overtime. That loss means that Fenerbahce have now lost two in a row in all competitions, something that has happened just once so far in the season. The Turks are now sitting at the 4th spot of the Euroleague (W4 L3), scoring an average of 75.74 points per match, but also featuring the best defense, allowing just 69.42 points per match.

CSKA Moscow vs Fenerbahce: Head to Head Stats
Fenerbahce won both matches against CSKA Moscow last season, as they destroyed their Russian rivals by 79:95 in this venue (after a 75:75 in the regular time), before doubling their wins by 77:71 in Turkey. However, it is CSKA Moscow who have had the upper hand over the years (W6 L5). Even so, Fenerbahce have won each of their last 3 trips in Russia, which gives them the upper hand as visitors (W3 L2).
CSKA Moscow vs Fenerbahce: Prediction
CSKA Moscow are in supreme form at this point, coming off 9 consecutive wins in all competitions, while they have lost just one match all season. Fenerbahce, and especially coach Obradovic, will be very frustrated about how they lost to Olympiacos Piraeus, so they will be extra dangerous here.
CSKA Moscow vs Fenerbahce: Betting Tips
The best defense in the Euroleague is clashing with the 3rd best defense in this match, so there is a good chance we will see a tactical match between the two. Neither of the 5 matches between the two in this venue over the years has had Over 160.5 points (well only one if you count the overtime last season), so I am really tempted go with the Under 160.5 @ 1.67.
