Darussafaka vs Gran Canaria
Competition: Turkish Airlines Euroleague
Date: 29 November 2018
Time: 17:15 CET
Darussafaka (W1 L8) fought really hard in their last match against fellow Turkish side Anadolu Efes, but eventually fell by 88:93 on the road. At least they were much better then than they were in their previous match against the other Turkish side, Fenerbahce (100:79 loss on the road). In their match against Anadolu Efes they actually made a great start and were leading by four at the end of the first half. But they were shut down in the third quarter where they scored just 14 points and conceded a whopping 32 in the process. Needless to say that the match was effectively over despite their efforts in the final quarter, as Darussafaka remain with just a single win after nine tries. Eric continued his impressive performances with 18 points and 4 rebounds, while Peiners scored 15 with 2 rebounds and a steal. Evans and Baygul scored 11 each, while McCallum was fairly quiet with 10 points, but also 6 assists and 5 rebounds. They are now sitting at the bottom of the standings, scoring an average of just 77.2 points per match, while allowing a heavy 91 points in the process.
On the other hand, Gran Canaria (W2 L7) met a really heavy loss at home last week, where they were destroyed by 75:89 against Bayern Munich. They were not very good in the first quarter (17:21) and were already trailing by four at the end of the first half. But Gran Canaria had a good third quarter (20:15) and were actually leading at the start of the fourth. However, Bayern Munich totally destroyed them in the last quarter (12:28) and forced Gran Canaria to their 7th loss of the season. Balvin led the scoring with 15 points, 8 rebounds and a steal, while Eriksson scored just as many with 2/3 triples. But only Strawberry helped in the scoring department with 11 points, as none of the other players that participated had over 6 points. Gran Canaria are now sitting at the 14th spot of the league table, scoring an average of 81.4 points per match, while conceding the most points than any other team with 92 per match. Gran Canaria will have a tough injury to deal with, as starting point guard Clevin Hannah will be sidelined in this match.

Darussafaka vs Gran Canaria: Prediction
Gran Canaria have been horrible on the road this season, having lost each of their nine matches in all competitions. Their smallest loss in that span was by 11 points, which goes to show that not only do they lose, but they lose by double digits. Darussafaka are much steadier at home but not very good overall.
Darussafaka vs Gran Canaria: Betting Tips
Darussafaka will have to rely on Eric in one more match, as he has shown that he is the most capable scorer in this team. He and McCallum will surely be the protagonists of this match, and they should be able to help the hosts cover the -3.5 spread @1.85.
