Eintracht Frankfurt vs Inter Milan
Competition: UEFA Europa League
Date: 7 March 2019
Kick-off: 18:55 CET
After drawing 2-2 in Kharkiv with Shakhtar Donetsk, Eintracht hosted the Ukrainian side in Frankfurt, in the return leg, took a 2-0 lead early, worried a bit after the 63rd minute when Shakhtar shortened the gap (2-1), but two late goals made Eintracht’s victory/qualification even more emphatic. On Saturday they beat Hoffenheim 3-2 at home, climbing up 5th in the Bundesliga table. Bad news was that Rebic had to get substituted at halftime, and the day before the first leg against Inter it looked like his presence in the game was really doubtful. So was Fernandes’, while Torró is definitely out, injured. The hosts are expected to start with Trapp, Ndicka, Hinteregger, Abraham, Kostic, Rode, Hasebe, Gacinovic, Costa, Haller and Jovic.
Inter Milan’s return leg against Rapid Vienna in the round of 32 was a… walk in the park. Less than 20 minutes into the game, Inter were already 2-0 up, which, combined with their 0-1 victory in the first game, in Austria, pretty much secured them a ticket to the last 16. Two more goals in the last 15 minutes made their fans’ leave the stadium even more satisfied. On Friday they lost 2-1 at Cagliari, their first loss in six matches. They are still in the Serie A top four though, fourth, to be more specific, three points ahead of 5th-placed Roma. Vrsaljko and Keita are out, injured, and of course Icardi remains… left aside, due to his ongoing “feud” with the club. Inter are expected to start with Handanovic, Asamoah, Vrij, Skriniar, Soares, Vecino, Brozovic, Perisic, Nainggolan, Politano and Martinez.

The hosts are considered favorites to win. I prefer focusing on goals instead.
Eintracht Frankfurt vs Inter Milan: Betting Tips
“Both teams to score” is a bet I like in this game, even though it’s not paying more than 1.75. Combined with “over 2.5 goals” it’s at 2.25.
