Eintracht Frankfurt vs Nurnberg
Competition: Germany Bundesliga
Date: 17 March 2019
Kick-off: 15:30 CET
Things could hardly be any better at Eintracht Frankfurt these days; midweek, they beat Inter in Milan, 0-1, qualifying for the Europa League quarterfinals, as predicted here. Last weekend, that 0-3 win at Fortuna Dusseldorf, was their third victory in a row, and also third match in a row to score three goals. They are… hot, and sitting fifth in the table, three points behind Gladbach and RB Leipzig, looking perfectly capable of grabbing a top four spot, so as to play Champions League football next season (unless they manage that by winning the Europa League, where they have a 12.5% chance, like all other seven teams left in the competition). They are expected to start with Trapp, Toure, Hinteregger, N’Dicka, Da Costa, Hasebe, Fernandes, Kostic, Gacinovic, Haller and Jovic. The day before the game, Abraham, Chandler, Rebic and Rode were considered doubtful.
Think Eintracht, think “exactly the opposite”, and you have Nurnberg… On just 13 points from 25 matches, they sit at the bottom of the table, six points behind Stuttgart, who currently occupy the relegation playoff spot. Last weekend they lost 2-1 at Hoffenheim, and if that weren’t enough, they lost right-back Enrico Valentini as well, for the remainder of the season (he got seriously injured). Plus, Tim Leibold received his fifth yellow card of the season and has to sit out, same as Matheus Pereira who is still serving his three-game ban. Mathenia, Mühl, Margreitter, Ewerton, Bauer, Kubo, Löwen, Erras, Behrens, Kerk and Ishak, these should be their first 11. Goden, Leibold, Lippert, Pereira, Valentini and Zrelak are all unavailable. The day before the game Ilisevic, Misidjan and Petrak were considered doubtful.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Nurnberg: Head to head Stats
One Eintracht win and four draws(!) in the last five games between these two in Frankfurt.
Eintracht Frankfurt vs Nurnberg: Prediction
Eintracht played midweek, they are hosting a team that has conceded five goals in their last four matches, but no matter what, the hosts should find a way to win the game.
Eintracht Frankfurt vs Nurnberg: Betting Tips
Given that a simple Eintracht victory pays less than 1.50, I would risk with their victory combined with “under 4.5 goals”, at 1.75, and with “under 3.5 goals”, at 2.25.
