Flamengo vs LDU Quito
Competition: Copa Libertadores
Date: 14 March 2019
Kick-off: 01:30 CET
Flamengo’s win in “draw no bet” (2.05) and their double chance combined with “under 3.5 goals” (again, 2.05), were the two tips here last week, when the Rio de Janeiro giants visited San José. A tough rival and Oruro’s altitude didn’t stop Fla from earning all three points, with Gabigol scoring the only goal of the match in the 60th minute. On Saturday they faced Vasco da Gama and drew 1-1, getting equalized in added time from the penalty spot. Vitinho is out, injured, he’s not the only guy who is unavailable, but all in all Abel Braga has the players he either way intended to include in the starting lineup: Diego Alves, Pará, Léo Duarte, Rodrigo Caio, Renê, Cuellar, Willian Arão, Éverton Ribeiro, Diego, Bruno Henrique and Gabriel Barbosa. Two days before kickoff, Fla had sold more than 52,000 tickets for this match.
“We could have scored more than two goals”. That was Pablo Repetto’s first comment after his team’s 2-0 victory at home last week over Peñarol, implying that it was a good opportunity for LDU Quito to build on their goal difference, which, you never know when will come in handy. The Quito side were far better than the Uruguayans on their Libertadores group stage debut, and deservedly earned all three points. It was their third win (and clean sheet) in a row, Libertadores and Ecuador championship combined. On Saturday they visited Macará and lost practically with their hands down, 3-0, playing with several reserves. They are on 10 points from five matches in their championship, sitting 6th in the table.

Flamengo vs LDU Quito: Head to head Stats
Flamengo and LDU have never played against each other before.
Flamengo vs LDU Quito: Prediction
I expect Fla to prove on the pitch that they are a much stronger team, and make it “six points from two matches”.
Flamengo vs LDU Quito: Betting Tips
Given that a simple Flamengo victory pays just 1.40, I would risk with “Flamengo and “over 2.5 goals”, at 2.30.
