France vs Scotland
Competition: Six Nations Rugby
Date: 12 February 2017
Kick-off: 16:00 CET
While there will be bigger game this weekend, this one will be fascinating as both these teams played better than expected in their first game and to go head to head it will be interesting to see who has the stamina to stay at this improved level. France will not underestimate the plucky Scots and the Scots will want to upstage the French flair.
Scotland really caused the first upset at their first chance, they came out firing against Ireland, and although they slumped a little as the emerald isle came back in the second half they showed the mental fortitude to first comeback and then hold on to win the game. Scotland have been building to be this exciting backline with a dependable pack, and this could well be their year. France are a tough prospect because they are unpredictable, but they also have the ability to collapse around a team that shows a lot of fire, and Scotland are the exact type of team than can blunt the French fire early on.
France’s efforts against England should also be praised for although Eddie Jones stated that England were poor, France did everything they could to almost win. It was a three point loss, but it was a show from France that they have the ability to go toe-to-toe with the best the competition has to offer. They are a big and burley team and they will hope to use that bulk against a Scottish side that has a little more creativity and slight finesse in their game. It could well be a role reversal of the team’s traditional strength as the French look to grind a win out of the exciting Scots.

France vs Scotland: Prediction
A really tough one to call, a lot of neutrals will be hoping for a Scottish win, but the French are a different beast at home and it could all come down to the home ground advantage. Scotland will give a real go at it, and could even lead by halftime, but the French muscle will blunt the Scots and they should just win it by a small margin.
France vs Scotland: Tips
Scotland will come out of the gates quickest so bet on them to be leading at halftime, but then to lose the game in the end.
