Freiburg vs Nurnberg
Competition: Germany Bundesliga
Date: 18 May 2019
Kick-off: 15:30 CET
The day in Bundesliga is full of thrilling – because of what is at stake – matches, but there is also this… Freiburg vs Nurnberg, a game in which none of the two have something really big to play for. Freiburg sit 13th in the table, they cannot finish higher, but they could drop as low as 15th, which of course they would prefer avoiding. They met their target, they will be playing in the Bundesliga next season as well, fourth in a row, which, for a team of Freiburg’s… stature, is a success. According to reports, they will start with Schwolow, Koch, K. Schlotterbeck, Heintz, Höfler, Frantz, Haberer, Abrashi, Günter, Petersen and Grifo (his last game at Freiburg, as his loan deal is coming to an end. He “belongs” to Hoffenheim). Coach Christian Streich cannot count on injured Gulde, Kleindienst, Kübler and Okoroji.
Nurnberg were the first team to get relegated, mathematically, but they could at least avoid finishing last; they are two points behind Hannover, so if they beat Freiburg and Hannover don’t win their game, Nurnberg will climb up one spot. It would not make a real difference, but… Coach Boris Schommers (for whom this is the last game in charge, as he is not going to follow the team to the second division), is expected to have Mathenia, Bauer, Mühl, Margreitter, Leibold, Erras, Pereira, Löwen, Behrens, Kerk and Ishak in the starting lineup. Zrelak is out for sure, seriously injured, while the day before the game, Ewerton, Fuchs and Valentini were considered doubtful. Nurnberg have three draws and 13 defeats away from home this season in the Bundesliga; not a single victory.

Freiburg vs Nurnberg: Betting Tips
“Over 3.5 goals” is at 2.08. Under different circumstances (earlier in the season), it would feel… particularly risky, but not now, with everything already decided.
