Fulham vs Huddersfield
Competition: England Premier League
Date: 29 December 2018
Kick-off: 16:00 CET
What a… weird game that was… Fulham hosted Wolves midweek, finished the game on less than 30% ball possession, but they were the ones who came closer to winning the match. They took the lead in the 74th minute thanks to a Ryan Sessegnon goal, got equalized in the 85th, and before the final whistle they missed a big-big chance to take the lead again, and earn all three points. Despite their poor ball possession percentage, they had as many attempts on goal (five) as Wolves. If they had not gotten equalized in the 85th minute, they would be 18th today, still below the relegation line, but at least on 13 points, not 11. They have drawn in three of their last five Premier League matches, and won just one of their last 16(!), a 3-2 at home over Southampton, just over a month ago.
Huddersfield lost at Manchester United midweek, no surprise really… The only surprise was that they scored, late in the match, while already losing 3-0. They had scored 11 goals in 18 matches before that. Actually, Huddersfield had two good chances to score while the game was still at 0-0 and 1-0. They finished the match on 35% ball possession, 10 attempts, two on target, doing well, overall, for a team sitting below the relegation line, playing away from home against a team that had just played one of their best matches of the season, rejuvenated after the departure of Jose Mourinho. Huddersfield are at the bottom of the table, on just 10 points.

Fulham vs Huddersfield: Head to head Stats
Two Fulham wins and a draw in the three games between these two with Fulham as hosts the last four years. Before that, they hadn’t hosted Huddersfield since 2000.
Fulham vs Huddersfield: Prediction
The hosts are considered relatively clear favorites to win, but I don’t trust them.
