Germany vs Estonia
Competition: Euro 2020 qualifiers
Date: 11 June 2019
Kick-off: 20:45 CET
Germany got the job done on Saturday, beating Belarus 0-2 on the road, as easily as the final score suggests. Leroy Sané scored the opener just over 10 minutes into the game, and Marco Reus put the match to bed in the 62nd minute. Truth is, I expected at least one more goal from the Germans, they did miss chances, but at the end of the day, that 0-2 was more than enough for them. It is worth mentioning that Joachim Löw was not on the sidelines, missing his first Germany game in 15 years. No surprise, it was known before the trip to Belarus that Löw would not be there, “victim” of a little accident he had the other day. His assistant, Marcus Sorg was in charge, and after the final whistle in Belarus, Löw made sure to communicate his satisfaction about the way the team had played. Germany are on six points from two matches in the group, second in the table, three points behind Northern Ireland, who have played three games already.
Martin Reim was a really sad man after the final whistle on Saturday, having seen his team lose 1-2 to Northern Ireland at home, despite leading from the 25th, and until the 77th minute. Konstantin Vassiljev scored the opener for Estonia, they… persevered until late in the game, but they conceded twice in the last 15 minutes, getting left empty-handed. Reim told reporters he was very disappointed about the result, but praised his players for their attitude, their commitment, and their overall performance. Estonia remain without a point in the group, from two matches.

Any other result but a Germany win would be a massive surprise.
