Glasgow Warriors vs Ospreys
Competition: Guinness Pro14
Date: 09 September 2017
Kick off 16:15 CET
With both these sides, Glasgow and the Ospreys, getting off to winning stats, but wins without bonus points they will be looking to keep their momentum up as the Wesl side travels north to Scotland.
In the opening round of the new Pro 14 it was Glasgow who were made to scrap in the insatiable West of Ireland as they snatch a win against Connacht 18-12. It was exactly the kind of game one expects hen going to Connacht and for that reason the Warriors will be glad they got the win. Glasgow are pegged to be a dark horse in this tournament and as such they will need to win tough games like this one, as well as another tricky one against a top side in the Ospreys. Of course, being at home will help, and because they have such an attacking backline, they will be saying to stretch their legs against an Ospreys side that likes to play with a lot of freedom as well.
The Ospreys took advantage of their opening game at home as they defeated the Italian side Zebre 22-13. It was only a nine point winning margin, and a game where the Welsh side scored a few too little points for their liking, but a win’s a win and they will take the four points. The issue however is that many team will take five points from Zebre quiet easily, especially at home, and with the Italians putting up a bit of a wall, that means, down the line, that the Ospreys have missed out on some easy points, and that will be playing on their mind. In their preparation to now travel to Scotland things will get a lot harder and if they put on the same performance as they did in their opening round it will not be an easy ride for the Welsh side.

Glasgow Warriors vs Ospreys: Head to Head Stats
The Scots have had the better of this fixture over the last 10 encounters as they can claim the six wins, as well as being party to one draw. The Ospreys have only won three games in the last 10 but the last three have been Ospreys wins, and the draw.
Glasgow Warriors vs Ospreys: Prediction
Glasgow have the historical advantage, they are also at home, and in tough conditions in Galway, they also played the better rugby. It is a bit of an embarrassing win for Ospreys against Zebre so they will need a big improvement if they are to win this one – and they probably won’t get it.
