Glasgow Warriors vs Treviso
Competition: Guinness Pro14
Date: 29 September 2017
Kick off: 20:35 CET
Glasgow Warriors, along with Ulster, remain the only unbeaten sides in the competition, and a visit by Treviso would usually spell a simple win for the Scots, but they should be wary of this Treviso side.
Treviso, so usually rooted to the foot of the table, unable to pick up wins, have a 50 percent win record through the four games, winning their last two consecutively, and including an away win in that – very rare. Treviso seems to be playing a much better brand of rugby, and the two wins they picked up against Edinburgh and the Ospreys is a good result for one of the Italian teams. They were welcomed to the competition with two tough games against Ulster, who are definitely one to watch, as well as Munster, another strong Irish side. However, there is nothing wrong with the power of Edinburgh and Ospreys, the Treviso side was just much better and they deserved their wins. They now have to face one of the better sides in the early stanzas of the competition, and that will be difficult, but they will have a boatload of confidence as they travel to Glasgow.
Glasgow were seen as a potential dark horse for this competition, as they had been building towards being a force in the Pro 12 last year and now have everything falling into place for them. They have a new coach, they have recruited well, and their game plan is difficult to counter. They have been good at home, where they beat Ospreys, and Munster most recently, and they have been good on the road as they took down the Cardiff Blues and Connacht. However, they have also shown that they are much better at home a both their wins there were over 20 points while on the road they won by one point against Coach and six against the Ospreys. Glasgow should be wary of Treviso, just because they could be a banana skin, but in all reality, the Scots should pick up an easy win at home against the Italian side.

Glasgow Warriors vs Treviso: Prediction
Treviso have definitely made some of the other team’s in this competition sit up and pay attention to them, but they are not all of a sudden going to win the entire competition. However, Glasgow will be thinking they deserve a shot at the title and for that they need to beat the little teams in their way such as these Italians.
