Hertha Berlin vs Eintracht Frankfurt
Competition: Germany Bundesliga
Date: 8 December 2018
Kick-off: 18:30 CET
Hertha Berlin beat Hannover 0-2 away from home last weekend, their first victory in seven(!) Bundesliga matches. They hadn’t won in over two months, since that home triumph over Bayern Munich late September. Pal Dardai doesn’t have four players at his disposal, Javairo Dilrosun, Niklas Stark, Karim Rekik, and Lukas Klünter, all four injured. He is expected to have Jarstein, Lazaro, Lustenberger, Torunarigha, Plattenhardt, Grujic, Maier, Leckie, Duda, Kalou and captain Ibisevic in the starting lineup. Czechia international midfielder Vladimir Darida is back, but most probably he’ll stay on the bench. They are 7th in the table (thanks to their awesome start of the season), on 20 points.
Eintracht Frankfurt had been impressive for weeks, more like… months, but last weekend they looked… blocked against Wolfsburg at home, lost 1-2, only the second time since late September that they scored “just” one goal, and not two, three, four, or more, as they used to. Coach Adi Hütter was left frustrated and disappointed, not seeing from his team what he expected. Eintracht have almost half a dozen players out, injured; Abraham, Allan, Chandler, Paciencia, Torro, all five are out. According to reports, the Frankfurt side will start the game with Trapp, Russ, Hasebe, N’Dicka, Da Costa, De Guzman, Fernandes, Kostic, Rebic, Haller and Jovic (he scored last weekend, late, it was his 10th goal in the Bundesliga this season, and is sharing the top spot in the list alongside Paco Alcácer.

Three wins for Hertha, one for Eintracht, and a draw, in the last five games between these two in Berlin.
Hertha Berlin vs Eintracht Frankfurt: Prediction
Hertha are considered super slight favorites to win the game. I would leave winner and losers aside, and bet on goals instead.
Hertha Berlin vs Eintracht Frankfurt: Betting Tips
“Over 2.5 goals” is at 1.66, going up to 1.83 if combined with “both teams to score. Eintracht have done an awesome job offensively in their last away match, Hertha have conceded six goals in their last two games at home, so I would risk with Eintracht’s “over 1.5”, seeing it at 2.10.
