Hungary vs Estonia
Competition: UEFA Nations League
Date: 15 November 2018
Kick-off: 20:45 CET
That crazy 3-3 in Tallinn last month, left Hungary without any chance of winning the group. They are on four points, eight behind leaders Finland, with just two matches left. It’s… hard to believe that game in Estonia last month had six goals. Attempts were 10-7 for Estonia, meaning that… one out of every three attempts, was a goal. Lots of emotions, 1-0, 1-2, 3-2, 3-3, with Hungary salvaging a point at the end, but that wasn’t enough to keep them alive in the fight to finish first. They’ve won just one of their last eight matches, that 2-1 at home over a very poor Greece side, back in September. Before scoring three goals in Tallinn, last time they had managed to score that much in a single game was in August 2017, at home, against Latvia.
Estonia earned their first point last month, but the way things look, that’s going to be their last one as well. In a few days they are visiting Greece, two away games in a row, against stronger than them teams. I repeat, that 3-3 in Tallinn last month was… insane, for several reasons. For example, before that game, Estonia had lost all three, but 1-0 or 0-1, all three by one goal, both at home and away. They hadn’t scored a single goal, and they scored three(!!!) in 60 minutes(!). They had conceded three in as many matches, and allowed the same number of goals in less than 60 minutes…

Hungary vs Estonia: Head to head Stats
Hungary have hosted Estonia twice before; they lost 0-1 in a friendly game in 2003, and won 5-1 in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
Hungary vs Estonia: Prediction
After that… hard to believe 3-3 in Tallinn last month, I really don’t know what to expect from these two. I do expect Hungary to win, but other than that…
Hungary vs Estonia: Betting Tips
The hosts’ victory pays 1.40, low. Combined with “over 2.5 goals”, that goes up to 2.40. They are eliminated, but this is an official international match, I don’t expect them to look… indifferent. On the other hand, Estonia have nothing to lose, so I can see them score. Lose, but score.
