Internacional vs Alianza Lima
Competition: Copa Libertadores
Date: 14 March 2019
Kick-off: 01:30 CET
Internacional’s win (2.22), and their double chance combined with “under 2.5 goals” (1.97) were the two tips here last week, when the Porto Alegre side visited Palestino. The game was decided by a Rafael Sóbis goal in the 83rd minute, the only goal of the match. About 30 hours before kickoff it was unclear if defensive midfielder Rodrigo Dourado would be available. He got injured in Santiago last week, he could hardly walk on his way out of the pitch, and didn’t train properly on Monday. The prevailing feeling though at Beira Rio was that the 24-year-old would be ready on time to play. Inter are expected to start with Marcelo Lomba. Zeca, Rodrigo Moledo, Víctor Cuesta, Iago, Rodrigo Dourado (or Rodrigo Lindoso), Edenílson, Patrick, William Pottker, Nico López and Pedro Lucas (or Rafael Sobis). Last weekend they beat Aimoré 2-0 at home, playing with an almost entirely alternative lineup.
Alianza Lima touched the victory last week at home, when they hosted River Plate, they got equalized deep into added time, and I was left with the impression that if they had believed more in their victory, if they had looked more… gutsy, more daring, if they had searched for a second goal instead of looking comfortable staying back, defending, defending, defending, then, maybe, even if they had conceded in added time, they would still have won the game. On Saturday they visited Academia Cantolao, they were losing 1-0 until the 90th minute, but incredibly, two Kevin Quevedo goals super late, earned them all three points. They are now on nine, from four matches in Peru’s recently-started championship.

Internacional vs Alianza Lima: Head to head Stats
No history between these two.
Internacional vs Alianza Lima: Prediction
I will be very surprised if Internacional don’t win this game (with all due respect to Alianza Lima).
Internacional vs Alianza Lima: Betting Tips
Given that a simple Inter victory pays just over 1.20, I would go for “Inter and under 3.5 goals”, at 1.93. “Inter and under 2.5 goals” would be my riskier choice, at 3.25.
