Jeonbuk Motors vs Tianjin Quanjian
Competition: AFC Champions League
Date: 6 March 2018
Kick-off: 11:00 CET
“Over 3.5 goals” was at 2.01 two weeks ago when Jeonbuk Motors visited Kitchee, that was my tip, and Jeonbuk did much better than that, winning the game 6-0. That came a week after beating Kashiwa Reysol 3-2 at home, so they are the only team in the group on six points from two matches. On Thursday they beat Ulsan Hyundai 2-0 at home, on their debut in this season’s championship in Korea, and even though the campaign has just-just started, Jeonbuk Motors have already been named “the team to beat” in the country. They do look a step higher than all other, but the season is way too young. Lee Dong-Gook keeps scoring, both in the championship and the Champions League, a living legend of Korean football, at 38(!).
Tianjin Quanjian’s double chance was my main tip two weeks ago when they visited Kashiwa Reysol, and it came good two minutes from time, when Pato equalised 1-1. The CSL side salvaged a point in Japan, scoring as well, something that may prove very important at the end of the group stage, in case they and Kashiwa end up level on points. The new championship season just started in China, and Tianjin Quanjian triumphed 4-0 away from home, at Henan Jianye. Modeste scored twice, Witsel and Sun Ke added one each, in what was a very convincing Quanjian performance. It was Paulo Sousa’s first CSL game in charge. The Portuguese is seen as the man who can take the best out of Tianjin’s undoubtedly good roster.

Jeonbuk Motors vs Tianjin Quanjian: Prediction
Jeonbuk are considered clear-clear favourites to win the game, and I agree, I do expect them to prove they are superior, and make it three out of three in the group.
Jeonbuk Motors vs Tianjin Quanjian: Betting Tips
A simple Jeonbuk win pays 1.56. “Over 2.5” pays slightly better, 1.66, but combining these two, you get to hope for something much better.
