Juventus vs Tottenham
Competition: UEFA Champions League
Date: 13 February 2018
Kick-off: 20:45 CET
Juventus beat Fiorentina 2-0 away from home on Friday, scoring both goals in the second half, to leapfrog Napoli and occupy the top spot in the Serie A table. Only for 24 hours though, as Napoli beat Lazio on Saturday, 4-1, to leave Juve second, one point behind them. The Bianconeri have 11 wins in a row, Coppa Italia matches included, having conceded just one goal(!) in those 11 matches. Before that, they had three wins and two goalless draws (starting with their 0-0 at home against Barcelona, in the UEFA Champions League group stage), meaning that… crazy as this may look, they have conceded just one goal in their last 16 games! At home, they haven’t conceded in their last eight matches, again starting with that 0-0 versus Barcelona. They look… more than just “good”, they look scary(!), their form is… intimidating, but this is a very different game to any other they have given before, since the start of this season.
There were days in January that looked liked Tottenham were about to… drop the ball, they drew 1-1 to West Ham at home, 1-1 as well at Southampton, 1-1 even at Newport County just a few days after their draw at Southampton, but they have definitely bounced back in February. Huge win over Manchester United, gutsy draw at Liverpool, qualification in the FA Cup past Newport County, and last but not least, win over Arsenal in the London derby last weekend. They may be 20 whole points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City, but… who isn’t? They are just four points behind second-placed Manchester United, well within their target to finish in the top-4, so as to play Champions League football next season as well. Be reminded, they finished first in their group, and it wasn’t just any group, but one including Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. They have stepped up in the Champions League, after their disappointing previous season, and with Harry Kane looking as hot as… ever, they have every reason to believe they can kick Juventus out.

Juventus vs Tottenham: Head to head Stats
Interestingly, Juventus and Tottenham have never played against each other before in an official match.
Juventus vs Tottenham: Prediction
Juventus are considered favourites to win the game, they definitely have the upper hand at home, but personally I’m very hesitant to pick their victory without the safety net of “draw no bet”, and like that, their win pays too little. I prefer to focus on goals instead.
Juventus vs Tottenham: Betting Tips
“Under 2.5 goals” is at 1.65 betting odds. Pushing it, I would go for “under 1.5”, at 3.00, which suits my 1-0 (Juventus) hunch. I expect Juve to look super solid defensively, make absolutely sure to keep a clean sheet, and look content with leading 1-0, taking zero risks.
