Lamia vs Levadiakos
Competition: Greece Super League
Date: 11 March 2018
Kick-off: 16:15 CET
Lamia were absolutely desperate to beat Platanias in Crete last weekend, three defeats in a row had pushed them dangerously close to the relegation zone, and they rose to the occasion to pick up all three points, beating Platanias 2-1. They are definitely not out of the woods yet. They are on 23 points, four more than Apollon Smyrnis and Kerkyra. It feels that one of these three will get relegated along with Platanias, with Lamia being, obviously, at the best position among the three. The club decided to set the ticket price to just five euros, giving an extra motive to Lamia football fans, even those who are not necessarily Lamia supporters, to go to the stadium, be there for the team of their city. The left-back position is the one that coach Babis Tennes is troubled about, as he has both players unavailable, the ones who usually cover that spot.
The fact that the day after they beat AEL Larissa, last weekend, Levadiakos started talking to Jose Anigo, their French coach, about prolonging his stay at the club, working there next season as well, gives you an idea how important that victory was. Levadiakos are on 29 points, 10 whole ones above the relegation line, with only five games remaining, meaning that… absolutely insane things need to happen for them to get relegated. Last weekend, they were 1-0 down until the 60th minute, but they had already been the better team on the pitch, and the two goals they scored in about three minutes sort of did them justice, as they deserved all three points.

Lamia vs Levadiakos: Betting Tips
I don’t see a favourite, so between Lamia’s win at 1.72 and Levadiakos’ double chance at 2.10, I’m going with the latter, counting on the visitors to avoid defeat. As previously mentioned, draw, at 3.40, is my top choice.
