Lanus vs Huracan
Competition: Argentina Superliga
Date: 6 November 2018
Kick-off: 01:00 CET
Belmonte’s goal in the 75th minute last weekend, the one that earned Lanús that 1-1 draw at Tigre, was of pure gold. Lanús are well-conscious of the fact that every single point counts, as they are very close to the relegation line in the “promedio” table. After starting the season horribly, they have now gone undefeated three weekends in a row, having celebrated their first victory at home over Patronato. Luis Zubeldía remains optimistic that the team will keep improving, despite the fact that they have certain… limitations regarding their roster.
Last weekend’s Huracán vs Colón was not… a Copa Libertadores final, or a derby between giants, it wasn’t even a local derby, but if you watched it, you must be feeling privileged to have spent two hours that way. At halftime, Colón were 0-2 up, having totally imposed their own rules on the field. Come 50th minute, Huracán were left with 10 men. Incredibly, they managed to win the game(!!!), scoring three goals between the 73rd and the 83rd minute… Lucas Gamba scored twice, Colombian Andrés Roa was the one who equalized, and the final whistle left the hosts delirious. Colón’s players? At a loss for words. “El Globo” is on 17 points, having won five of their last six matches. Young defensive midfielder Federico Marín got injured, had to undergo surgery, and won’t be back before late January/early February.

Lanus vs Huracan: Head to head Stats
2-0 win for Lanús and 1-3 win for Huracán the last two years in the two matches between these two in Lanús. Before that, they hadn’t faced each other there since 2011.
Lanus vs Huracan: Prediction
Lanús have been improving these last weeks, but they are hosting a very-very good team. I’m backing the visitors to earn at least a draw, and deep down I expect them to win the game.
Lanus vs Huracan: Betting Tips
Huracán’s win in “draw no bet” is at 2.20, and their double chance at 1.57. If I left the safety net of “draw no bet” aside, I would make the risk of betting on Huracán’s win really worth it, and combine their victory with “over 2.5 goals”. Like that, it pays a fantastic 6.50.
