Leicester vs Hull
Competition: Premier League
Date: 04 March 2017
Kick-off: 16:00 CET
Could it be? Are Leicester, the title winning side back and at their best again with the major change that happened with the management. After struggling to win anything in 2017 Leicester suddenly pulled off a shock win against Liverpool, they will need to show this form is really back when they take on a Hull side that are still in the basement of the league.
It was a huge controversy when Leicester decided to sack their star manager Claudio Ranieri, the man who won them the title against all the odds last season. There were rumours surfacing that, much like Jose last year at Chelsea, the players wanted the manager out and were no longer playing for him. It was clear enough that the players, who could not be beat last year, were no longer playing as they slipped from defending champions to relegation threatened. But when Ranieri was sacked the next game they went on to beat Liverpool in an emphatic 3-1 display.
Hull in the meantime have made a few waves of their own. They were a team that looked rooted to the bottom of the table, but a manager change for the Tigers as well seemed to spark something in them as the last four games have seen them lose just the one game, suddenly becoming much more competitive. Hull are still in the relegation zone, as other low teams also make their last fight to avoid the drop, but they will be hoping the stuttering Leicester come to visit them this weekend. Hull are quiet fragile in their revival and do not need to face another team getting a new lease on life, if Leicester are at their worst, Hull will believe they can win.
Leicester vs Hull: Head-to-Head Stats
Not much history to speak of in this match either as there have been just the three games, but this encounter has seen it all as Leicester and Hull have a win each and have shared a draw. When they met earlier this season, Hull won the match 2-1.
Leicester vs Hull: Prediction
Leicester are a team that really make you want to believe everytime they show even a glimmer of hope, especially after their season last year that made many believe in magic. However, Hull are also a team that look to be making a chance for themselves in staying up. It is a home game for Leicester, a big change has happened and seems to have affected them positively, Hull are a poor side in general, so maybe it is safe to back the Foxes for a win this time.
Leicester vs Hull: Tips
Jamie Vardy is another one who has been a major let down this season, but if the Foxes are back to their best, that means Vardy will score.
