Levadiakos vs OFI
Competition: Greece Super League
Date: 10 November 2018
Kick-off: 18:30 CET
That was fast… Two weeks ago, Brazilian attacking midfielder Chumbinho got substituted in the game against Lamia. On his way to the bench, he didn’t shake his coach’s extended hand. After that, he was set aside, and it was obvious that the… glass had broken. About 10 days later, his contract was rescinded, he’s no longer a Levadiakos player. The Livadia side needed an AEL Larissa own-goal last weekend to salvage a point at home in the dying minutes of the match. They had been losing 0-1 since the 13th minute. It was just their fourth point this season, in nine matches. They are second-to-last in the table.
To call OFI’s 0-0 at home last weekend versus Apollon Smyrnis “disappointing”, would be a pathetic understatement. They were hosting the only team without a point in the Super League, they had beaten Olympiakos in their last home game in the championship, and they “managed” to stay at a colorless 0-0 against, I repeat, the team that had eight defeats in as many Super League games before traveling to Crete last weekend. Seven points from nine matches for OFI, 12th in the table, but… that 0-0 last weekend really hurt them, mostly psychologically. Defensive midfielders Manolis Papasterianos and Miguel Mellado, as well as attacking midfielder Juan Neira, are out, injured. Center-back Giannis Potouridis and center-forward Patrick Vouho are also unavailable, due to cards.

Levadiakos vs OFI: Head to head Stats
Levadiakos haven’t hosted OFI in three years. They beat them 3-0 in 2015, 2-1 in 2014, and drew 1-1 in 2013.
Levadiakos vs OFI: Prediction
The hosts are considered favorites to win, but I have serious doubts. OFI have back-to-back draws on the road, against teams no worse than Levadiakos.
Levadiakos vs OFI: Betting Tips
I don’t see a winner in this game. Draw alone pays 3.00. My more conservative tip is OFI’s double chance, at 1.66, because it’s the one of the three that pays the best. “Under 2.5 goals” feels very probable, but at 1.47, I don’t think it’s worth it.
