Levadiakos vs Panetolikos
Competition: Greece Super League
Date: 18 February 2018
Kick-off: 16:15 CET
Levadiakos had lost five games in a row away from home before visiting Apollon Smyrnis last weekend, but I still backed them to earn at least a draw, their double chance was at 2.00 betting odds, and they… delivered (1-1). For that point they have – partly – to thank the fourth official of the match. In the 72nd minute, the referee showed a second yellow card to Leonardo, Levadiakos’ defender. The player left the pitch, but the fourth official called the referee and told him he was absolutely sure that the foul had been committed by another player who was right next to Leonardo. The referee accepted his assistant’s words, and called for Leonardo to be told to return to the pitch (he had already left, he was in the dressing room). Levadiakos stayed with 11 men on the pitch, and no matter how much Apollon pushed for a second goal in the last 15 minutes, the Livadia side persevered and finally earned a positive result away from home. They are 9th in the table, far from the relegation zone, having practically met their main target this season, avoid relegation.
I keep writing for weeks now that Panetolikos have improved vastly and they keep improving. Last weekend, in their home game against Platanias, in which I had backed them to win and score at least twice, not only they won 3-0, but really, they were a team worth buying a ticket to watch. Three goals, more than half a dozen other chances to score, free-flowing football, great communication between the players, really, last weekend’s Panetolikos were a joy to watch. Farley Rosa deserves a special mention for his two ridiculously beautiful goals. He opened the scoring in the first half, and someone could think “he could try the same thing one hundred times, he won’t get it right more than once”. Well, he did something rather even more difficult late in the game, to put the cherry on top for Panetolikos. He had four goals in 20 appearances before last weekend, and in a single match not only he scored twice, but both goals were… “wow”.

Levadiakos vs Panetolikos: Prediction
I’m thrilled to see Levadiakos be considered favourites (even slight ones) to win the games, because I’m definitely backing Panetolikos to earn at least a draw.
Levadiakos vs Panetolikos: Betting Tips
Panetolikos are in such good form that… deep down, I feel suggesting their double chance at 1.53 is very… conservative. I fancy their recent attitude so much that I dare suggest their win, at 3.10. Their victory in “draw no bet” is some sort of… middle way, paying 1.90.
