Linfield vs Sutjeska
Competition: UEFA Europa League
Date: 13 August 2019
Kick-off: 20:45 CET
A week ago I shared my hunch that Linfield would prove a very tough nut to break in Montenegro and that they could snatch a draw, but David Healy’s team did much better than that, despite conceding first. Kirk Millar scored twice, his first goals in UEFA competition matches, to give the Northern Ireland champions a big-big win, that has them practically with both feet in the Europa League playoffs. They qualify even if they lose 0-1. As for Millar, he did it again on Saturday, when Linfield hosted Institute on their debut in their championship. He equalized in the 12th minute, and his team went on to win the game 3-1. Things could hardly be any better at Linfield at the moment, as their morale is… over the roof.
Attempts last week were 12-7 for Sutjeska (even though the on target ones were 3-5 for Linfield), corners won were 6-3 for the Montenegrins, so numbers say that Sutjeska spent more time attacking, trying to score, but they obviously didn’t expect Millar to play the game of his career (in UEFA competitions). On Friday, they visited Zeta in their championship, and all they managed was a goalless draw. To qualify, they need to score at least twice, something they haven’t done in any of the seven official matches they have played thus far this season. To be more specific, they have scored just four goals in seven games, so their mission to score twice in the same match, away from home, against a really stubborn team, do not look good, do not look good at all…

Linfield vs Sutjeska: Prediction
Linfield are considered favorites to win, but I wouldn’t bet on that.
Linfield vs Sutjeska: Betting Tips
“Over 2.5 goals” pays 1.80. Sutjeska are obliged to score at least twice to have any chance of qualifying, they can’t afford to… take things easy, they must step on it right from the word go, and that’s why I expect an open game, with at least three goals.
