Manchester United vs PSG
Competition: UEFA Champions League
Date: 12 February 2019
Kick-off: 21:00 CET
What a transformation… On December 16, Manchester United lost 3-1 at Liverpool. That was Jose Mourinho’s last match in charge. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer came in. Eleven matches down the road, the Old Trafford side have celebrated 10 victories, drawn once, and suffered no defeat. Mind you, United, beat Tottenham and Arsenal in London along the way, scoring a total of 28 goals in those 11 matches. Just last weekend they beat Fulham 0-3, thanks to two Paul Pogba goals, and one more from Anthony Martial, who recently signed a new contract with United. As for Pogba, he finally shows that he can be the leader the team need. Winning the Premier League is a rather unrealistic target, but they can definitely finish in the top four, and make sure they play Champions League football next season as well. They are also in the round of 16 of the FA Cup, they are facing Chelsea in a week.
Edinson Cavani scored for PSG in the 42nd minute on Saturday, in their Ligue 1 home game against Bordeaux, but later on he had to leave the pitch injured, and right after the match, Thomas Tuchel, PSG’s coach, told reporters that… it didn’t look good. Marco Verratti as well was considered doubtful the day before this game. Be reminded, the French side are without Neymar, who got injured recently, and will spend several weeks on the sidelines. Something over a week ago, PSG lost 2-1 at Lyon. A few days later, they needed added time to beat modest Villefranhce in the Coupe de France. Even against Bordeaux on Saturday they didn’t really play well, at least offensively. They won’t – most probably – lose the championship, but their future in this season’s Champions League is in serious doubt.

Manchester United vs PSG: Prediction
I like Manchester United’s chances of winning the game, keeping in mind how great they have been doing for weeks now, and how… problematic PSG have looked in their recent matches.
Manchester United vs PSG: Betting Tips
United’s win is at 2.30. I’m staying with that, avoiding combining number of goals.
