Manchester United vs Young Boys
Competition: UEFA Champions League
Date: 27 November 2018
Kick-off: 21:00 CET
Three weeks ago, Manchester United celebrated their biggest win of the season thus far, that 1-2 at Juventus, product of an… unexpected comeback in the last five minutes (they were losing 1-0 until the 86th). Today, things at the team are very different to that night. A 3-1 defeat in Manchester’s derby and a goalless draw at home last weekend with Crystal Palace have them 7th in the table, 14 whole points behind leaders Manchester City, and seven behind 4th-placed Chelsea. The atmosphere is heavy, and the fact that Jose Mourinho turned against four players, young ones, just a few days ago, “accusing” them of… not appropriate mentality, didn’t make things any better. They are second in their CL group, on seven points, two ahead of third-placed Valencia, whom they are visiting in two weeks.
Young Boys are on just one point from four matches in the group, at the bottom of the table, only with mathematical chances of finishing in the top-2, or even in the third spot, so as to play Europa League football in the first half of 2019. They have lost three of their four matches by two or three goals, including that 0-3 at home to Manchester United, back in September. Two goals scored, 10(!) conceded, it’s hard to claim they deserved something better from their first four group matches. Things are totally different in Switzerland’s championship, where they are flying from one win to another. Not only they are leading, but they have dropped just five points in 15 matches! Second-placed Basel are 16 whole points behind them!

Manchester United vs Young Boys: Prediction
This may look… suicidal, but I’m actually backing Young Boys to earn something out of this match. I feel the conditions are good (United in poor form) to produce a big surprise.
Manchester United vs Young Boys: Betting Tips
Young Boys’ 1.5 Asian handicap pays 2.05, my main tip. Deep down, as previously mentioned, I see them produce a big surprise, leaving Old Trafford undefeated. Their double chance is at 4.00.
