Nacional Montevideo vs Atletico Mineiro
Competition: Copa Libertadores
Date: 13 March 2019
Kick-off: 01:30 CET
Nacional earned a very… Uruguayan victory in Venezuela last weekend. They took the lead over Zamora in the 24th minute thanks to a Gonzalo Bergessio goal, and then they simply protected that lead, without worrying too much. Zamora created only one really big chance to equalize, so… kudos to Nacional for looking super tight defensively, very determined to keep a clean sheet. Doesn’t get much better than that, away win on the debut in the Copa Libertadores group stage. On Saturday, they went back to… disappointing their fans, which they have been doing since the start of the Apertura in Uruguay. Up until 77 minutes into the game, they were losing 0-2 to Boston River at home, but two late goals salvaged them a point. They are on three, from four matches, all from draws.
It’s been a week now and I’m still trying to… digest the news from Belo Horizonte, Atlético Mineiro’s loss to Cerro Porteño. The Brazilian side deserved at least one goal, if not more, actually they did score twice, but both times their goals were annulled, correctly. On the other hand, they paid for a mistake made by the first assistant referee, who missed Diego Churín’s offside position in Cerro’s goal, in the 78th minute. It was… ironic… After missing and missing chances, Atlético conceded, a goal that should have been annulled as offside, and on top of that, the scorer didn’t really know how he pushed the ball in, looking surprised himself as well. On Saturday, Atlético beat CAP 0-1, but it was a 100% alternative lineup that played last weekend. All regulars were preserved, so as to be at their 100% in Montevideo.

Atlético Mineiro are with their back against the wall after losing at home last weekend. I expect them to rise to the occasion and leave Montevideo with all three points.
Nacional Montevideo vs Atletico Mineiro: Betting Tips
Atlético’s win is at 2.45. I believe in them enough to bet on their victory without the safety net of “draw no bet”.
