Nasaf Qarshi vs Al Sadd
Competition: AFC Champions League
Date: 5 March 2018
Kick-off: 14:30 CET
A week after losing 3-0 at Persepolis practically with their hands down, Nasaf Qarshi hosted Al Wasl and looked like a totally different team (then again, they were playing at home, and against an opponent that has very little to do with Persepolis). The Uzbekistan side won “just” 1-0, but they were absolutely dominant throughout the 90 minutes, and deserved at least one more goal, if not more. They were impressive defensively as well, not allowing Al Wasl a single real chance in the entire match. On Thursday, the new championship season started in Uzbekistan, Nasaf drew 0-0 at Neftchi.
Al Sadd’s two wins in as many group stage matches thus far have Baghdad Bounedjah’s name all over them. He’s the one who scored twice in the last 15 minutes at Al Wasl to give Al Sadd a 2-1 win three weeks ago, he’s the one who scored their first two goals two weeks ago as well, when they hosted Persepolis. Al Sadd were the bosses on the pitch from the very beginning of the match, and they only took the foot off the gas after their 3-0, half way through the second half. After that, they allowed Persepolis three chances, and an added-time goal that may, just may, prove important at the end of the group stage. Bounedjah scored two more goals on Thursday, but Al Sadd lost 4-3 at Al Duhail, a result that pretty much ended Al Sadd’s hopes of winning the championship title. With just a couple of matches left and the difference between them and leaders Al Duhail at 5 points, they need a miracle to win the title.

Nasaf Qarshi vs Al Sadd: Head to head Stats
This is the first game ever between these two.
Nasaf Qarshi vs Al Sadd: Prediction
The game is considered so tight that there is just a 0.10 difference between Nasaf Qarshi’s win and that of Al Sadd. I’m leaving winners and losers aside, I’m choosing goals.
Nasaf Qarshi vs Al Sadd: Betting Tips
Nasaf have scored just one goal in two group matches, but at home, two weeks ago, they were very productive, created several chances, and could have scored much more. Al Sadd’s both games have gone over 2.5 goals. All things considered, I feel “over 2.5”, at 2.00, is a promising bet.
