Palmeiras vs Internacional
Competition: Copa do Brasil
Date: 11 July 2019
Kick-off: 02:30 CET
It’s rather… unanimously accepted that Palmeiras are the team to beat in Brazil right now. They are considered favorites to win the Serie A title, favorites to lift the Copa do Brasil trophy, and keeping in mind how they did before the Copa América break, it… makes sense. They were the best team in the country, the most effective, the ones who played the most… clever football, and probably the ones with the clearest plan on the pitch, in every single game. Things change, players get injured, a couple of negative results change the atmosphere in the dressing room, so you can’t take anything for granted, but all in all, I repeat, Luiz Felipe Scolari’s Palmeiras are the team to beat in Brazil at the moment.
Odair Hellmann saw Zeca, his regular right-back, get injured a few days ago. One man’s misfortune, is another man’s opportunity, so Bruno is stepping in. Zeca is expected to stay out for at least three weeks, a period of time full of games, as Inter are fighting on… three fronts, Copa do Brasil, Serie A, and Copa Libertadores. Paolo Guerrero, one of Copa América’s two top scorers, alongside Brazilian Everton, is back, and despite having been gone for over a month, is expected to play against Palmeiras. Newly-signed left-back Natanael is available, as his transfer papers are ready. He should be on the bench though, with Uendel starting the game. Natanael was signed as Iago’s replacement, after the latter moved to Germany, signing at Augsburg.

Palmeiras vs Internacional: Head to head Stats
Palmeiras have five wins in a row as hosts over Inter, with the last four having had the same score, 1-0.
Palmeiras vs Internacional: Prediction
Palmeiras are considered big favorites to win the game, but I wouldn’t bet on that, considering their 1.50 too low for the risk involved.
Palmeiras vs Internacional: Betting Tips
“Under 1.5” pays 2.55, my top choice. “Under 2.5 goals” is at just 1.50, but at 1.75 if combined with Palmeiras’ double chance. I’m between 0-0 and 1-0.
