Panathinaikos vs Valencia
Competition: Turkish Airlines Euroleague
Date: 30 March 2018
Time: 20:15 CET
Panathinaikos went through a very difficult week unscathed, as they won both matches against Crvena Zvezda (92:71 at home) and also Maccabi Tel Aviv by 75:76 on the road. They were not very good in the first half though, as thye were down by 41:35 at the end of the second quarter. However, they were great in the second half, as they outscored their opponents in both quarters, and recorded a very slim, but crucial win. Mike James erupted for 27 points with 4 assists and 4 steals, while Vougioukas scored 16 with 5 rebounds. Calathes scored 10 with 4 assists, and Singleton almost had a double double with 9 points and 10 rebounds. Panathinaikos have now won six in a row in all competitions, and they are now sitting at the 5th spot of the Euroleague (W17 L11). They have just as many wins as Real Madrid above them, while both teams have just one more win that Baskonia, Khimki Moscow and Zalgiris Kaunas who have both played one more match.
On the other hand, Valencia played a somewhat indifferent match against Olimpia Milano, where they managed to win by 89:93 on the road. They were only mediocre in the first quarter (23:17), but they quickly took control of the match. They went on to outscore their opponents in each of the next three quarters, to win by 89:93. Green scored a team-high 18 points with 3 triples, while Van Rossom, Pleiss and Dubljevic all scored 11. Pretty much every player that was involved had something to contribute. Even so, Valencia have been eliminated from the playoff chase, as they are now sitting at the 11th spot of the Euroleague (W11 L17). Valencia will be coming here with a couple of injury concerns, as Diot has been ruled out, while Williams is still considered as questionable to participate.

Panathinaikos vs Valencia: Betting Tips
I will take the Over 156.5 points here @ 1.87, as Valencia have scored like crazy lately, while Panathinaikos are always very strong at home. I am not sure if Panathinaikos will eventually cover the -9.5 points handicap, but there is a good chance we will see a passionate match between the two.
