Panetolikos vs AEL Larissa
Competition: Greece Super League
Date: 11 February 2019
Kick-off: 18:00 CET
Fifth time was the… charm for Panetolikos, as they beat Lamia 0-2 last weekend in their fifth Super League match in 2019. One goal in each half, convincing performance, clean sheet, three points, it all went great for the Agrinio side, who remain close to the 5th spot in the table, which should give a Europa League ticket at the end of the season. Winger Jorge Díaz is out, suspended, but attacking midfielder Franco Mazurek and winger Nicolás Maná are back from suspension, and centre-forward Vlad Morar as well as right-back Nikos Marinakis trained properly these last days, and on Saturday it looked like Traianos Dellas would have both at his disposal.
Last week was yet another… eventful one at AEL Larissa. Once again(…), their president announced his decision to leave the club, and football in general, as long as he finds someone to sell his shares, making sure of the club’s future. He has said so several times before, so… it’s hard to believe that he really-really means that this time. He also said that winger Milos Deletic has signed for AEK(!), something that neither the Athens club nor the player verified these last days. Larissa lost at home last weekend, 0-1, to Atromitos, dropping 12th in the table. Right-back Nikos Karanikas and central midfielder Radomir Milosavljevic are out, suspended. Centre-back Aleksandar Gojkovic got injured and will miss this and the next game. Larissa won their first away match of the season, back in August, at Apollon Smyrnis, but ever since then, they’ve lost six and drawn twice as visitors.

Panetolikos vs AEL Larissa: Head to head Stats
Two wins for Panetolikos over AEL in Agrinio the last three years. Before 2016, they hadn’t hosted them since 2012 (0-1).
Panetolikos vs AEL Larissa: Prediction
I would risk with the hosts’ win, expecting them to build on that 0-2 at Lamia last weekend.
Panetolikos vs AEL Larissa: Betting Tips
Panetolikos’ win pays 2.05. I’m staying with that, avoiding risking further with number of goals. Larissa haven’t scored more than one goal in any of their nine away matches this season, but the number of goals they conceded was anything from nil to four (usually two).
