Panionios vs Atromitos
Competition: Greece Super League
Date: 28 October 2018
Kick-off: 16:15 CET
Panionios had won three games in a row (one of those in the Cup) before visiting Panathinaikos last weekend, they looked perfectly capable of earning at least a point at Athens’ Olympic Stadium, but they conceded in the 72nd minute, and proved unable to answer back. Winger Oumar Camara trained properly these last days, but he hasn’t played since mid September, and if he’s given game time by José Anigo, chances are it will happen in the second half, coming off the bench. The Nea Smirni side are 9th in the Super League table, on just seven points from as many games. In four home matches they have earned as many points, losing to PAOK and Olympiakos Piraeus.
Atromitos impressed last season, and this one is proving even better for them. Seven game weeks into the season they are sharing the top spot of the table with PAOK, on 19 points. Last weekend they beat Asteras Tripolis 3-2 at home, with Efthimis Koulouris scoring twice more, including the winner in the 88th minute. Atromitos had taken the lead twice before in the match, but Asteras had equalized both times. Brazilian defensive midfielder Madson got sent-off in added time (second yellow card), and is unavailable. Atromitos’ coach, Damir Canadi, seems to be one of those whom the Greek FA had in their mind before appointing Anghelos Anastasiadis as the new national coach, but either way, the Austrian had said he was totally focused on his job at Atromitos.

Panionios vs Atromitos: Head to head Stats
Two wins for Panionios, one for Atromitos, and two draws, in the last five games between these two in Nea Smirni.
Panionios vs Atromitos: Prediction
Honestly, I’m surprised to see Panionios be considered favorites to win the game, even slight ones. I’m definitely backing Atromitos to earn at least a draw in Nea Smirni.
Panionios vs Atromitos: Betting Tips
Atromitos’ win in “draw no bet” is at 1.90, and their double chance at 1.45. “Koulouris to score anytime” makes sense, given how hot he has been since the start of the season.
