PAOK vs AEL Larissa
Competition: Greece Super League
Date: 12 February 2018
Kick-off: 18:30 CET
Thirteen wins in a row, Super League and Greece Cup combined, that’s a record for PAOK, 13 victories that have them first in the championship and already in the semifinals of the Cup. Most important of all, every week that passes, PAOK players seem to believe more and more in themselves, seem to gain in confidence, realizing that this can be their year. Last weekend they beat PAS Giannina 3-1 away from home, making things very easy for them, leading 3-0 by halftime. Midweek, they visited Atromitos in the return leg of their 2-0 win back home, in the Cup quarterfinals. Another 3-1 win, despite playing without Aleksandar Prijovic, their top scorer, who was given a break so as to look as fresh as possible against AEL. PAOK have found fantastic chemistry, things work for them, and at this point, knowing that both AEK and Olympiakos have to visit them in Thessaloniki, they are… masters of their fate.
What a football suicide that would have been… After beating PAS Giannina 2-1 away from home two weeks ago, AEL Larissa hosted PAS in the return leg of their Cup quarterfinal tie, took the lead, but… somehow found themselves 2-1 down by the end of regular time (paying the 2.35 that “over 2.5 goals” came at, my suggestion back then). In extra time they… imposed their own rules, won the game 3-2, and avoided falling victims of what would have been a major surprise. Last weekend they drew 0-0 to Panionios at home, remaining 11th in the Super League table. That was just their second point in their last five matches in the championship. They remain far from the relegation zone though, they are not threatened, and can even dream of a Europa League ticket if they make it to the Cup final.

PAOK vs AEL Larissa: Betting Tips
PAOK’s win pays under 1.20, for good reason. “Over 2.5 goals” is at 1.73, and combined with PAOK’s victory it goes over 1.80, still not… mind-blowing, but definitely decent, and very-very probable to come good.
